“È stato un round abbastanza anomalo, perché siamo partiti forte e nelle prove libere sono sempre stato nelle posizioni di vertice, trovando grande fiducia in sella alla mia Desmosedici GP. Poi l’aumento delle temperature ha complicato la situazione, perché quando cala il grip siamo più in difficoltà rispetto ai nostri rivali, ed oggi abbiamo faticato a tenere il passo dei primi. Nella seconda metà di gara abbiamo fatto una bella bagarre con Andrea ed altri piloti ma purtroppo ho perso una posizione proprio all’ultima curva. Il lato positivo è che sono salito al terzo posto nella classifica iridata ed ora andiamo al Sachsenring: lì ho sfiorato il podio lo scorso anno e questa volta punto a salirci”.

“It’s been a bit of a strange weekend, because we started off on the right foot and we were always among the frontrunners in free practice. I was feeling really confident onboard my Desmosedici GP, but the rising temperatures complicated the situation because, when the grip level goes down, we struggle more than our rivals and today it wasn’t possible to match the pace at the front. In the second half of the race Andrea and I engaged in a fun battle against other riders, but unfortunately I lost one position at the very last corner. On the bright side, I’m now third in the Championship and we’re headed to Sachsenring: I barely missed the podium there last year, and this time we’ll try to make sure we step on it.”

“Ha sido un Gran Premio extraño porque empezamos muy fuertes y terminé todos los entrenamientos entre los más rápidos y encontrándome cómodo con mi Desmosedici GP. Después, el aumento de la temperatura ha complicado la situación porque cuando el grip disminuye sufrimos mucho con nuestros rivales y hoy no hemos podido tener el ritmo de los primeros. En la segunda mitad de la carrera Andrea y yo hemos protagonizado algunos adelantamientos, también con otros pilotos, y desgraciadamente he perdido una posición en la última curva. El lado positivo es que soy tercero en la clasificación de pilotos y ahora vamos a Sachsenring, donde el año pasado subí al podio y este año quiero volver”.
