“Sono molto contento di essere finalmente tornato in pista. Oggi non ci siamo concentrati sul tempo, ma nel cercare di ricostruire un buon feeling con la moto dopo tanti mesi lontani dalla mia Desmosedici GP. All’inizio ho faticato abbastanza, ma nel pomeriggio credo di aver individuato la giusta strada che mi permetterà di migliorare anche nelle prossime giornate. Oggi il meteo instabile ha reso difficile individuare il nostro vero potenziale: ho girato sempre con gomme usate e, complice la pioggia, non siamo riusciti a provare tutti i nuovi componenti che abbiamo da testare. Nel complesso però è stata una giornata positiva e sono fiducioso per domani”.
“I am happy to be back on track. Today we didn’t focus on the lap time, but we worked on trying to rebuild a good feeling with the bike after this long break away from my Desmosedici GP. It had been difficult at the beginning, but in the afternoon, I think I was able to find the right path that will help me also improve in the next days. Today there were mixed weather conditions that made hard to understand our real potential: I always ran with used tyres and with the rain we couldn’t try the new items that we need to test. In general, it was a positive day, and it leaves me confident for tomorrow”.
“Estoy muy contento de volver a la pista. Hoy no nos hemos concentrado en hacer el tiempo, sino en volver a encontrar el feeling con la moto después de tanto tiempo alejado de los circuitos. Al principio me ha costado mucho, pero por la tarde creo que he encontrado el camino correcto que me permitirá mejorar en los próximos días. Hoy el tiempo non nos ha permitido demostrar nuestro potencial. He rodado siempre con neumáticos usados y la lluvia no nos ha permitido probar todos los componentes que queríamos. En general ha sido una jornada positiva y estoy confiado para mañana”.
